Orientation happens in the PRESENT TENSE

After nearly 30 years Managing, Coaching, and Training thousands of people in the Hospitality and Luxury Event Industries, I had a near-death experience that changed everything. In 2023, after multiple health struggles, I had an allergic reaction to a heart medication that forced me to a full stop. In that moment, I realized the three systems I had trusted to support me had failed: the Corporate Working System, the Healthcare System, and my own NERVOUS SYSTEM. I was suddenly off my feet and unable to work — confined to stillness in a way I had never experienced before. What followed was a profound awakening — spiritual, physical, and everything in between.

What few people saw was the cost of trying to sustain excellence at full speed for decades: chronic pain, health struggles, and the exhaustion that comes from showing up for everyone while quietly running on empty. I had normalized feeling terrible for so long that it simply felt like my life. A nameplate on my desk read “I’m Dead Inside,” beside the candy dish I kept stocked for the office. My coworkers treated it like a joke. It wasn’t.

Over the next year, after a period of deep disorientation, I navigated one of the most challenging periods of my life, feeling hopeless and profoundly alone. I made a conscious decision to take my life back. Although I had people in my contacts list, I realized the kind of support I needed simply didn’t exist.

I began a meditation practice after years of hiatus— starting small — rebuilding clarity and steadiness from the inside out. I changed what I ate, what I read, who I let in. I cut ties with narcissistic dynamics, broke codependent patterns, and reclaimed my energy. I studied neuroscience, breath-work, AI, and human behavior. I took courses. I did the work. Slowly, I got strong enough, and my healing was underway.

As that clarity took hold, one thing became undeniably clear: in the most challenging moments of our lives — when we’re scared, uncertain, and running on empty — what people need most is a real human willing to stand beside them. Without agenda. Without trying to fix or control the process. Just kind, present, and steady.

I no longer identified with the version of myself that nameplate represented, and I created Wingwoman to work directly with people — without the filter of a corporation or third-party system. Supporting people through moments of transition had always been my work — but doing it through institutional constraints was slowly eroding me.

Wingwoman offers kindness-based support for people, communities, brands, and institutions in transition — not therapy, not corporate coaching — but a real human standing with you while you, or your brand, find your footing again.

You don’t need to share my worldview or beliefs to work with me. I’m not here to change who you are — I’m here to meet you where you are. My only prerequisite is that you are choosing to move forward with positive intention.
